Explore a World of Diversity with Ironwoodbob's Didgeridoos!

The Healing in "C" above is played with Ironwoobob's "Bobaradoo."  The pitch  is set to E flat and a drone is played down to a C at the same time.  At the beginning of this  piece, I only sing and blow through the Bobaradoo. Then at 40 seconds I only bluzz a C drone.  Then I at 60 seconds I added the Casio keyboard "chorus-2" sound at a C pitch.  Then I play a simple drone wthout any dubbing.  One half way through the piece I begin fluctuating between a D, E flat and C drone.  The vibrations between these waves create theta and alpha binaural waves that humans can't hear but entrainment of the waves may calm the brain and allow a relaxed body to heal.  I added a little reverb  and equalization in editing.  Now the mind, body and spirit is ready to heal. The Bobaradoo was amplified by a inexpensive microphone made for an acoustic guitar and was hooked up to an inexpensive  Digtech multi-effect guitar processor.  I play this improvisational piece using only one finger on my left hand on the keyboard and my right foot on the wah wah and sustain pedal.

The "Bobaradoo" is a unique didgeridoo-like instrument.  It is the first that is specifically designed for anyone allowing for the diversity your own personal attributes.  Beginners can learn to circular breath quickly and with ease.  Players can experiment with blowing, buzzing, breathing and singing through different mouthpieces and connectors playing different pitches while learning new techniques that can be transferred to other instruments as well as other modalities like meditation, healing, percussion accompaniment, singing and breathing exercises.  The Bobaradoo is highly responsive to sound waves with excellent back pressure because of its narrow blow hole, smooth surface, curved horn and dense material.  Less breath is needed to hold those soft meditative drones as the player appreciates the many different sounds of this didgeridoo-like instrument. The Bobaradoo almost plays itself while not sacrificing the deep harmonic overtones.  This tunable instrument slides two cylinders together producing a drone at the desired pitch anywhere between a low A (the third A below middle C) and a higher G (7 notes higher). A toot has a range an octave to a 9th above the drone range.  The range of the pitches may vary slightly depending on elevation and other environmental factors as sound waves are affected.  The Babaradoo is not meant to slide like a trombone or a slide whistle, but is meant to be adjusted for one pitches, although is it can slide to many different pitches quickly if needed

The Bobaradoo is a sleek satin black didgeridoo with 2 coats of dye and 2 coats of paint, that telescopes to cylinders from 38.5” to 72” and up to 90” with the extension.  The outside diameter is 1.4” to a medium size bell that is approximately 3.5” diameter.

A velcro strap for hanging, a 45 degree connector

and a wide narrow rimmed mouth piece are included

The following accessories are available.

18” extension for the low B and A pitches,

Additional mouth pieces that allow the player to choose from 5 different diameters and rim thicknesses,

Straight line connector,

A Pvc knock out.

Many custom extensions and mouth pieces
