The Ironwoodbob Experience
Ironwoodbob is an old sage who wanders out of the desert to tell
stories and pontificates philosophies about the ways of the world as he
weaves stories, music, visual art and videos into a tapestry of life
experiences from the beginning through the present and into
the future. Ironwoodbob evolves from a food gatherer and hunter into a
future age when some humans become aware that they are the caretakers of
the planet earth. Then they begin to influence all the living to seek harmony.
Ironwoodbob sees reality much like our ancient
ancestors who passed on a point of view in the "Dreaming."
Like the ancient ones, he searches for harmony as he lives in a
symbiotic, synergistic relationship with the earth.
Ironwoodbob blends
narratives, poetry quotations, binaural beats, drums, didgeridoos,
guitars, voice, synthesized music, natural sounds, watercolors, photographic prints, collage, concrete
sculptures, and
paper mobiles into a musical multi media experience with videos that
reflect this journey. His life experiences reveal hope and
joy as he gains wisdom and empowers
all to nurture positive change. People with their collections, the
plants with their flowers, the desert with its rocks and butterflies and
cranes with their journeys are the subject matter as he attempts to
influence all of mankind to live in harmonious ways. After more than
10 years of creating, this work has become of most importance to him.
The effects of controlled breathing exercises and meditation techniques
as well as creating awareness of the effects sound and infrasonic waves on the mind and body
has become the
focus. It can all be summed up in a quotation from the True
Believer by the famous and only 20the century American Philosopher,
Eric Hoffer.
"When
our individual interests and prospects do not seem worth living for, we are in desperate need for something apart from us to live for.All forms of dedication, devotion, loyalty and self-surrender are in
essence a desperate clinging to something which might
give worth and meaning to out lives."

Degeneration of Belief
Ironwoodbob's World
Ironwoodbbob's world is a skewed path in a
world of living along the fringe where unknowns are created as we touch
the edges of reality in places where all is random. Sometimes patterns
form within the random along the way as we ride on the top of a crest,
sinks underneath with the calm or tread in the wake.
Sometimes the wave forms new frequencies and
patterns when they meet.
Everything makes patterns over time.
Many patterns happen abruptly.
A string of patterns may end at the same place.
The same time can be long and short.
Absolutes like good and bad don't exist because
everything is relative.
Outcomes are random with
probabilities.
Most parts of any movement follows the mass.
It just wasn't that long ago when we all were
waves of energy.
Over time we bundled with more waves that
synergistically flow
together to form sensory receptors that help the sentient beings
understand the universe.
Every time a rock moves or the wind blows, their
actions stir the surroundings and that affects movement as it stirs more
waves into action.
We all are really the god at the moment of time
within our small surrounding universe.
Ironwoodbob's essence is a micro man who
searches for harmony in this very small world where all is local and
the
mundane becomes the sublime. As it happens in "The Dreaming",
Ironwoodbob has been influenced by many religions,
scientific disciplines, writers, musicians, composers, healers
and thinkers. They all have helped him to see outside the box of common
perceptions and look beyond to discovers new horizons.
His human body, mind and spirit is made up of a unique combination of
organisms, chemicals and waves that contribute to the greater whole. These
parts transform life into a conscious soul with awareness and
ethos.
We think we have "free will," however, it is all the
stuff within and outside us that contribute to our ethos. We all dart around ever so faster
contributing to a greater whole and spirit of the earth within the
grand universe.
The mundane and sublime are in a constant interplay
within any moment of time.
Ironwoodbob is just a small part in a moment.
Experience the moment and comprehend
Oneness
"All wars are civil wars, because all men
are brothers...
Each of us owes infinitely more to the human
race than to the particular country in which we were born."
Francois Fenelon, theologian and write
" 1651-1715)
"A human being is a part of a
whole, called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He
experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated
from the rest... a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This
delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal
desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must
be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of
compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in
its beauty."
-Albert Einstein (1875-1955)
